Graduation

Wow! The time has finally come! Bill and I graduated today! What a fantastic day. Although our senior speaker left quite a bit to be desired, our guest speaker, Teresa Heinz Kerry spoke about creating and taking advantage of the possibiities our college education will bring to each of us. The best part about the ceremony, of course, was hearing your name and walking across the stage to reciev that long awaited deploma. I, however, (along with the other Masters students), got a piece of cardboard instead of a pruple leather case. We will still be working until July 13th. Our robes made up for it, though. The sleeves are made differently on a Masters gown, and we get to wear a hood. Light blue velvet for an education degree. It was a special day, and wonderful to celebrate with close friends and family.

Well, as for the next week...I haven't decided yet if I was to work on my thesis or take a week off. I am still student teaching, so maybe I will just stay in the groove and continue working. I'll let you know as I find out more.
